Steve Holmgren
Our Pastor
Pastor Steve and Michelle are excited to be a part of Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene! He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2006.
Steve grew up in Minnesota and fell for an East Texas girl named Michelle. They married in 1988 and have been sweethearts ever since. Pastor Steve loves all things football but especially getting together for the game lots of fellowship and goodies!
Steve has served faithfully in ministry since the Lord placed a call on his life over. He has served in various capacities, including minister of music, youth pastor, song evangelist, evangelist, and lead pastor.
Pastor Steve believes that we need God and we need each other. He feels the purpose of the church is to lift up the name of Jesus, encourage and pray for one another, and share the gospel with everyone!
